Free, trial and Pro (Settings › Subscription)

Every new account gets 30 days of the full product, once. The Subscription page says how many days are left. After that the account is Free unless you upgrade.

The trial is per person and per Powerwall. A Powerwall that already had its trial on another account (say, one you deleted and re-created) does not get a second one, and Settings › Subscription says so.

When a trial ends, nothing is deleted:

  • AI mode switches itself off, and back on again if you upgrade later.
  • The rules the planner made stay listed but locked.
  • The refresh rate drops and the Saved figures disappear.
  • During the trial there is a small ad card on each page. On the Free plan an occasional interstitial between screens is added. There is never more than one in five navigations, and never within ten minutes of the last.

Upgrade to Pro opens Stripe's checkout (on the phone, in the browser; it comes back by itself). It is a monthly subscription you can cancel any time. Manage subscription opens Stripe's portal to change the card or cancel. A cancelled subscription keeps Pro until the end of the paid period. If a renewal fails, Pro carries on while Stripe retries; update the card in the portal.

Settings, in one place

  • Site: everything about the installation on one screen. That covers the Tesla connection, the system facts, location and PV arrays, the local gateway and the EV charger. See Your site and EV chargers.
  • AI providers: your keys. See AI mode.
  • Appearance: dark, light or match the device, set per device.
  • Language & currency: English (UK/US), Deutsch, Français, Nederlands, Español, Italiano, or Automatic. The currency symbol can be GBP, EUR, USD, AUD, CAD, NZD, CHF, SEK, NOK, DKK, PLN, CZK or Automatic. Both are kept on the account, so web and phone agree. Money is never converted: the currency only decides the symbol, so choose the one your tariff is billed in.
  • Subscription: see above.
  • Account: password, email and two-factor. See Your account.
  • Data: the danger zone, below.
  • Suggestions: send an idea, a problem or anything else straight to us, and see the status of each one you sent.

Deleting data (Settings › Data)

Both actions need your current password and a second confirming tap.

  • Delete history for a date range removes the recorded energy days and their five-minute detail, live battery snapshots and AI day-scores for those days. You can also remove the AI plans made in the range. Tariff price history stays, because it is the market record. Days within roughly the last week will be re-synced from Tesla on the next sweep; anything older is gone.
  • Delete account removes everything, immediately, with no undo and no grace period. That covers the Tesla connection, energy history, snapshots, weather data, rules, AI plans and goals, tariffs and consents. A running forced-export window is reverted first and any subscription is cancelled at Stripe. One billing record is kept: every email address the account used, the Powerwalls that were connected, whether the trial was used, and the Stripe customer reference, so a second account cannot get another trial and payments can be accounted for.

Uninstalling the app on its own changes nothing; sign out first if you want the phone forgotten. If you can no longer sign in, the delete your account page explains how to ask by email. The privacy policy lists exactly what is collected and why.
